Karma Thigsum Choeling
Karma Thigsum Choeling is the Christchurch Centre of the New Zealand Karma Kagyu Trust. Christchurch is a city of some 320 000 people located in the South Island of New Zealand.
The name our centre was given by His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa for the second Karma Kagyu centre to be established in New Zealand, the first being his official seat in this country, Karma Choeling Buddhist Monastery.
In English, Karma Thigsum Choeling translates as "Dharma Activity Centre of the Three Yanas".
