New Zealand Kagyu Monlam

The Kagyu Monlam is a major international prayer festival held annually in Bodhgaya, India, one of the most sacred sites for Buddhists worldwide. Tens of thousands of people gather together in order to listen to Buddhist teachings and to pray for peace and harmony on earth and the well-being and happiness of all the world.

Karma Choeling holds the New Zealand Kagyu Monlam in conjunction with Palpung Institute every year. It is held over three days, dates vary.

Dedication for the Living and Deceased

NZ Kagyu Monlams, provide the precious opportunity for people to make an offering for prayers for the wellbeing of others, those who are sick or who have passed away.
